Guiding Questions: Psalms 127

This is part of the Tanakh Yomi Project.

  1. What is essential to secure “anything” (Psalms 127:1)?
  2. And — what of those who are “solely self-reliant” — albeit energetic and determined (Psalms 127:2)?
  3. Do Psalms 127:3-5 urge large families — or is there some other intent?
  4. Or, do Psalms 127:3-5 imply that God’s protection will be a double blessing — many children — who will defend the city and its prosperity?
