We invite teens and young adults (ages 11-39) to sit down with grandparents or other elders to have a real conversation:
- What did Conservative/Masorti Judaism look like when you were each growing up?
- How have you traveled through your Jewish journeys?
- What does Conservative/Masorti Judaism mean to you?
Submit a 500–1000 word reflection to Exploring Judaism, exploring the theme of L’Dor V’Dor, from generation to generation. Access the support of our editorial team to develop your skills in writing for digital audiences. Join a growing community of young Jewish storytellers and historians capturing the lived history of Conservative/Masorti Judaism.
Submission Details
- Length: 500–1000 words.
- Deadline: December 5 (optional deadline of November 30 to receive personalized support in shaping your piece).
- Payment: $150 for each published piece.
- Prize winners receive: $300 and a featured spot in the USCJ newsletter!
- AI statement: All content must be original, written by you, without the use of AI tools.
