She studied at Brown University, earning a Master’s in Teaching, and taught middle school in Oakland, where she discovered her passion for values-based education. After deepening her Jewish learning at the Pardes Institute and connecting with organizations like Wilderness Torah and the Adamah Farm, she joined Mishkan Chicago to coordinate youth and family programs. Now a rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, Rachel brings a love of Torah, social justice, and inclusive education. She lives in Providence with her husband, Andrew, and their children, Aryeh and Meira.
