Sukkot

This is the time of our joy!

Step outside, dwell in temporary shelter, and rejoice together. Sukkot reminds us that life’s fragility can also be filled with blessing.

Come and dwell in our digital Sukkah!

Common Questions about Sukkot:

Sukkot in 2026 begins on Friday evening, September 25th, with two days of holiday observance (for those in the diaspora) until Sunday night, September 27th.

After the intermediate days, Sukkot concludes (for those in the diaspora) on Friday, October 2nd, leading into Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah.

A sukkah requires two things: two and a half walls and a roof, called skhakh.

The roof cannot be made of just any material, but “must be material that grew from the ground but which is not still attached to the ground.”
