A podcast project collaboration between Exploring Judaism and Temple of Aaron’s Rabbi Marcus Rubenstein, released Sunday through Friday, each episode runs approximately 15 minutes and is divided into three five-minute segments:
The format reflects a traditional model of Torah learning: staying connected to the weekly portion, learning the halakhah needed to live Jewish life, and refining one’s middot, personal qualities.
Many Jews want to learn Torah but lack either the time or the clarity about what to learn.
Content is drawn from three primary works: Me’am Loez for parashah, Mishneh Torah for practical law, and Menorat HaMaor for ethical development. Listen to Episode 2 for a breakdown on each of these books, here or below.
The goal is to present normative rabbinic Judaism across these domains in a way that fits modern life.
At its core, The Daily Derech exists to help us fulfill the sacred obligation of daily Torah learning in a way that deepens observance, strengthens relationship with God, and reinforces connection to Jewish community and time.
