We recite Psalm 27 daily this month: “One thing I ask of the Eternal, only that do I seek: to live in the house of the Eternal all the days of my life” (Psalm 27:4). Sometimes we feel scattered, wanting many things at once. The pressures from within and from without are loud and boisterous. The Psalmist calls us to focus on what matters most.
